Fore The Love Of Golf

Not only is Daytona Beach privileged enough to have one of the premier golf organizations in the Country in its backyard, it’s an easy drive from anywhere in the County. The Ladies Professional Golf Association, or LPGA International as it is better known, is headquartered here.

Those who live in this exclusive community are here because they are golf enthusiasts. Many enjoy private membership and the exclusive benefits that go along with that membership. The good news is that you – visitor or resident alike – can reap the benefits of golfing on one of two prestigious courses or watching others play the game from the comfort of the on-premises
dining room.

Dual, world class, four star championship courses offer a variety of challenday_LPGACartges for professionals and beginners alike. The Arthur Jones Legends Course and the Rees Jones Champions Course each provide a distinctive feel and design and offer something to accommodate every skill level. Whether you want to brush up on your skills or learn to play the game, you can sign up for schools, clinics or private classes with expert instructors. There are even special classes for kids in the summer months.

A call to the Pro Shop will ensure the tee time you want is available. While both courses are open to the public year round, if you are interested in membership, they will be happy to discuss that with you as well. Hours vary depending on season, but generally tee times are available from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 pday_LPGA1.m.

Interested in having a tournament with your closest friends or colleagues or to help a charity? If you have a dozen or more people who want to participate, the Pros at LPGA can assist you with everything from customized golf signs to personalized bag tags.

The Association is host to the respected LPGA Tour and a number of other prestigious golf events. If you are fortunate enough to be in town and want to watch, a limited number of spectator passes are available. Call the Pro Shop for details.

Image of Malcolm's a restaurant at the LPGAFor those who don’t play the game, but enjoy watching others; check out Malcolm’s Grille located in the Clubhouse. Overlooking the 18th fairway, you’ll have the best seat in the house for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Malcolm’s serves up mouthwatering soups, salads and sandwiches. There are special theme offerings like Prime Rib Night and Kid’s Night. Every weekend, enjoy $4 Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. A soon to come outdoor seating area will be centered around a large, stone fire pit overlooking the golf course and offering the same amazing vistas.

Malcolm’s is open Sunday from 8 am till 11am for breakfast and from 4 till 7 for dinner; Monday through Saturday from 11 am closing at 7pm on Monday through Wednesday and at 8:30 pm on Thursday through Saturday.

And LPGA International goes beyond the typical dining experience. They also offer complete banquet and catering facilities that will make any wedding or corporate meeting a truly memorable event.
