Racing’s North Turn- Saturday, February 8, 2020, parade starts at 12:30 p.m.

9th Annual North Turn Legends Parade. Re-Live History as you watch the cars take one more lap on the Original Beach/Road Course. The parade begins at 12:30 p.m.. The Interview and Autograph session hosted by Danny “Chocolate” Myers at 2:00 p.m.

Free Votran Shuttles from 4200 S. Atlantic Ave., 10:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m.

Enjoy learning about old Florida pioneer history while visiting Gamble Place, on the National Register of Historic Places. Once the winter home of James N. Gamble, of the Procter and Gamble Company, Gamble Place is adjacent to Cracker Creek, and is surrounded by an associated 175-acre nature preserve.

FREE chocolate samples are given at the end of every factory tour! Each guided tour lasts approximately 20 minutes Parking is FREE and Additional parking is located behind the building Factory tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible

Museum of Arts and Sciences Continuing Exhibits 

Continuing Exhibits: The Root Family Museum, featuring Coca-Cola© memorabilia and other Americana; the Cuban Foundation Collection; Frischer Sculpture Garden; Anderson C. Bouchelle Gallery for International Decorative Arts; Kim A. Klancke, M.D., and Marsha L. Klancke Environmental Education Complex in Tuscawilla Preserve; Schulte Gallery of Chinese Art; Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building; The Giant Ground Sloth; The Charles and Linda Williams Children’s Museum, the first hands-on science center in Volusia County, featuring more than 9,000 square feet of interactive exhibits.

Museum Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday – Saturday) and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sunday).   Museum admission is $12.95 adults; $6.95 children 6‐17; $10.95 seniors and students; members and children 5 and under are free. 

One planetarium show is included with the purchase of your admission ticket to the Museum of Arts & Sciences. Additional Planetarium Shows: $5 adults, $3 children. Monday – Friday Showtimes are 1 – 4 p.m.; Saturday Showtimes are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sunday Showtimes are 12 – 4 p.m.

Planetarium and laser shows daily. Parking is free.

Admission is FREE for Volusia County residents the first Tuesday of each month. MOAS is fully accessible to the handicapped.
