Enjoy learning about old Florida pioneer history while visiting Gamble Place, on the National Register of Historic Places. Once the winter home of James N. Gamble, of the Procter and Gamble Company, Gamble Place is adjacent to Cracker Creek, and is surrounded by an associated 175-acre nature preserve.

Mary McLeod Bethune Home Tours
Mondays – Fridays, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Enjoy a tour of the legendary educator and Civil Rights Activist Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune’s historic home. Built in 1904, it was her home from 1914 until her passing in 1955. Stop in to walk in the footsteps of the legendary leader. Tours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment.

Free, but donations are accepted to support the work of the historic home.

Museum of Arts and Sciences Continuing Exhibits 

Continuing Exhibits: The Root Family Museum, featuring Coca-Cola© memorabilia and other Americana; the Cuban Foundation Collection; Frischer Sculpture Garden; Anderson C. Bouchelle Gallery for International Decorative Arts; Kim A. Klancke, M.D., and Marsha L. Klancke Environmental Education Complex in Tuscawilla Preserve; Schulte Gallery of Chinese Art; Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building; The Giant Ground Sloth; The Charles and Linda Williams Children’s Museum, the first hands-on science center in Volusia County, featuring more than 9,000 square feet of interactive exhibits.

Museum Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday – Saturday) and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sunday).   Museum admission is $12.95 adults; $6.95 children 6‐17; $10.95 seniors and students; members and children 5 and under are free. 

One planetarium show is included with the purchase of your admission ticket to the Museum of Arts & Sciences. Additional Planetarium Shows: $5 adults, $3 children. Monday – Friday Showtimes are 1 – 4 p.m.; Saturday Showtimes are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sunday Showtimes are 12 – 4 p.m.

Planetarium and laser shows daily. Parking is free.

Admission is FREE for Volusia County residents the first Tuesday of each month. MOAS is fully accessible to the handicapped.

Stayin’ Alive, Live in Concert

Stayin’ Alive, with the vocal match of Tony Mattina, Todd Sharman, and George Manz, creates a realistic sense of hearing and experiencing the brothers’ Gibb live in concert.  Stayin’ Alive features a vocal trio, backed by studio musicians who wholly capture the sound mystique of The Bee Gees. 

Stayin’ Alive offers to their audiences the songs and sights of a full Bee Gees play list. Singing blockbusters such as Night Fever, Jive Talkin, How Deep Is Your Love, You Should Be Dancin, Nights On Broadway, and Stayin Alive. In addition, they perform softer poetic ballads such as I Started A Joke, Massachusetts, Fanny Be Tender, Words, and To Love Somebody, among other great hits.
