Granada Grand Festival of the Arts 2019
City Hall- Ormond Beach- Saturday, February 2, 2019, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Granada Grand Festival of the Arts is back to paint the Downtown District! Ormond Beach MainStreet will host this free arts festival Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the City Hall complex on South Beach Street, along West Granada Boulevard and in the streets between. The Granada Grand Festival of the Arts offers a generous helping of all things art, from visual artists and art demonstrations to musical performances and hands-on activities for the whole family.

More than 5,000 visitors joined us last year. As you wander around the festival, you’ll surely get lost in a flurry of sights, sounds and smells. Interact with select artists as they conduct live demonstrations of their technique, then snag the perfect gift from the artist vendor area featuring more than 60 accomplished area artists selling unique, handcrafted pieces of work. Admire the work of our chalk artists and participate in a community art project. Grab a mouth-watering bite from a string of local food trucks or stroll with a glass of wine or beer in-hand.

On the main stage, local jazz bands provide the sound track for the day, while student performances and dance groups take over a second stage. Even the smallest art-lover will stay entertained in our kid’s zone, hosting fun, educational art projects, face painting and a bouncy house.

Make the day complete with a visit to our River District restaurants and stores who will be offering specials in honor of the Festival and take in all our art installations along Granada Boulevard.

The Granada Grand Festival of the Arts is sponsored by Ormond Beach MainStreet and the Ormond Arts District as part of their mission to make downtown Ormond Beach a premier destination for residents and visitors to live, work and play.

Volusia Beer Week
February 1 – 10, 2019, various locations & times, check event schedule

DeLand Beer Festival was started in 2010 by two local beer enthusiasts, Todd Carpenter and Vinnie Morrissey.

With an attendance of around 450 people, the first DeLand Beer Festival included a large component of public education focusing on craft beer brands.  Since then the event has expanded to encompass an entire week devoted to craft beer in Volusia County with nearly 5000 people attending beer week events.

Volusia Beer Week started in 2013 and has hosted events from Ormond Beach to Sanford. Events include pint nights, special bottle releases, rare and limited draft releases, art and music events, beer dinners and brunches, beer tastings, meet the brewer events, educational sessions, a homebrew competition and the signature event, DeLand Beer Festival.

DeLand Beer Festival is celebrating 10 Years of bringing craft, culture, and community to Volusia County.

This year’s Volusia Beer Week Premier Events include the Drink Volusia Bus Tour, Brews and Bowties, and DeLand Beer Festival.  Volusia Beer Week started as a way to benefit our community and we continue to support the community that supports us.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from these Premier Events support Volusia County charities including MainStreet DeLand Association, a 501c3 charity dedicated to supporting and enhancing the economic development of Historic Downtown DeLand while protecting and promoting DeLand’s historic heritage. To date Volusia Beer Week events have raised nearly a quarter million dollars for local charities.
