Enjoy learning about old Florida pioneer history while visiting Gamble Place, on the National Register of Historic Places. Once the winter home of James N. Gamble, of the Procter and Gamble Company, Gamble Place is adjacent to Cracker Creek, and is surrounded by an associated 175-acre nature preserve.

The 1st Saturday of each month, Classic Car Cruise-In, sponsored by Steve’s Pickle Place.

DJ Frank Roberts provides the tunes and emcees the show from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Enjoy over 300 classic cars and trucks in The Market’s west parking lot.

Bring your classic to the next event! There’s never a charge to show your car or to come out & see all the classics! Door prize drawings for everyone that displays a vehicle.

Each guided tour lasts approximately 20 minutes

Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach- 1st Saturday of each month, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m./1 – 7 p.m.

Art Stroll on Canal Street. Artistic vendors set up along the historic Canal street from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Musical artists play from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Christmas Park, 101 Live Oak Street. Galleries feature solo and group exhibitions and artist talks in the Douglas Avenue area of the district and at the Hub from 4 – 8 p.m. Admission is free. 

Craft Beer Walk. Sample craft beers along historic Canal Street from 1 – 7 p.m.

Tickets are $20 or save 10% when you bring your glass back!! Includes: a six-ounce Canal Street souvenir glass and 12 sampling tickets that can be redeemed at 10 locations in the district. The walk is held on the first Saturday of each month.

Continuing Exhibits: The Armory featuring Napoleonic weaponry; the Root Family Museum, featuring Coca-Cola© memorabilia and other Americana; the Cuban Foundation Collection; Frischer Sculpture Garden; Anderson C. Bouchelle Gallery for International Decorative Arts; Kim A. Klancke, M.D., and Marsha L. Klancke Environmental Education Complex in Tuscawilla Preserve; Schulte Gallery of Chinese Art; Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building; The Giant Ground Sloth; Celestial Charts from the MOAS Collection; The Charles and Linda Williams Children’s Museum, the first hands-on science center in Volusia County, featuring more than 9,000 square feet of interactive exhibits.

One planetarium show is included with the purchase of your admission ticket to the Museum of Arts & Sciences. $5 adults, $3 children. Monday – Thursday Showtimes are 1 – 4 p.m.; Friday Showtimes are 1 – 5p.m.; Saturday Showtimes are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sunday Showtimes are 12 – 4 p.m.

Museum Hours are 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. (Monday – Saturday) and 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. (Sunday).   Museum admission is $12.95 adults; $6.95 children 6‐17; $10.95 seniors and students; members and children 5 and under are free. 

Planetarium and laser shows daily. Parking is free.

Admission is FREE for Volusia County residents the first Tuesday of each month.   MOAS is fully accessible to the handicapped.
